CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVE AND SENATOR

The mission of the Undergraduate Research at the Capitol of Pennsylvania involves students engaging members of the Pennsylvania House and Senate. Students are encouraged to contact their state representative and senator to arrange a meeting.

Here is a sample letter for contacting your representative or senator:

To identify your representative and senator, follow these instructions:

• Go to the web page of the PA General Assembly at: http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/home/findyourlegislator/index.cfm#address
  
  

• Enter your mailing address and click "GO"
  
  

• Your representative and senator will appear. Click on their names to view their web sites with photos. Know what your representatives look like so you'll be ready to meet them!
