Senate Legislative Record Source

The Right-to-Know Law ( PDF) establishes 19 types of legislative records which are available to the public. Of these, 16 types of legislative records apply to the Senate. In many cases, the records are easily available online and there is no need to make an official request. The table below serves as a guide to help you find legislative records as quickly as possible.

Often, it will be quicker to contact the original source of the legislative record. While not an official request under the Right-To-Know law, such requests avoid the administrative requirements placed on the Open Records Officer and can provide the information in a more timely manner.

Information on how to submit an official request for legislative records can be found on the Senate's Right-to-Know Law web page.
